Question about Televison & Video
I was silly and i tried messing around with the settings menu on my dvd player as a dvd i tried to play wasnt playing. I am not totally sure what i did but now nothing shows up on the screen at all. I remember the dvd asking me if my tv could handle the change and i said yes, that was my mistake. is there any way of resetting the player?
You may have switched to progressive mode.
If you have your DVD player hooked up to your TV with anything other than composite video (single, yellow RCA cable), for example via component or HDMI, than disconnect that cable and use composite.
This may help, but only if that's really what you did, and if the DVD still sends the interlaced signal out over composite (which doesn't handle progressive).
