Fisher Paykel Washer GWL11 - I have replaced the Drain Pump,Pump Hose,Diverter Valve. First test: Diverter was in wrong.Drained, but tub didn't fill orrecirculate. Fixed it. Now ONLY recirculates.

After filling with a small amount of water it will recirculate for a while then fill again to a higher level. To recirculate the divertor has to heat up and expand the operating plunger. It takes a long time to cool & move back to the drain position. You may be advancing from recirculate to drain too quickly. Allow at least 2 minutes before trying to drain water.

The washer does not fill up with water only hear a noise. Washer does not spin in wash mode. We tried the trouble shooting mode to see what was wrong. The washer will fill up in this mode but will not spin...

There is a thing I believe it is called a water fill valve. It is located where your hoses are hooked to the back of the washer. It is a simple fix. you have two electric solenoids one for the hot water and one for cold. Should be able to take it out with out pulling the back off. Just note where the wires went.

Will not hold water ,when filling it just drains out

I just had this problem also. The reason I was having this problem was that I was letting the draining hose run into my bath tub to drain. Because of this the water was immediately draining out of the washer. So I had to hook the draining hose onto my bathroom sink to drain. By raising the hose higher, the washer filled up with water and worked just fine. Hope this helps.

It won't hold water just keeps draining even while its filling. I bought a frigidaire stacked washer dryer and i just hooked it up today everything works great except when i turn it on it will work normal...

help is on it's way ... the drain hose needs to be 36 in high. . if it's too low it will drain and fill all day . you can use a drain ext. or longer hose if needed. if this does not correct problem / were still here . mm

Washer will not fill up!

The water is siphoning out as it fills. Your drain hose is too low or has a air block. Remove the drain hose from the drain. Set the washer to fill. Hold the drain hose up higher than the washer. If it fills correctly and starts agitating, correct the drain hose problem.

A used washer I am trying to hook up . . I have the drain hose going into the floor drain. The washer fills while at the same time draining. So it never really fills enough.

Washing machines need to be drained into a standpipe. This is a drain that is about 36" off the floor. The drain line on your washer will work fine if you have it installed in a standpipe.
by putting it down into a floor drain, you're not going to allow the machine to fill. The stand pipe will allow your machine to fill and still pump the water out during spin cycle.

Make sure there's a drain hose with a hook on the top.

The washer starts on a fill cycle. If it's not getting any water check the screens in the valve where the water line hooks to the back. If it is getting water but not filling up pull up on the drain hose. If it is to far down the drain it can **** the water right out of the unit.
