Plug out your mouse again and plug it in, then start the computer from the start. If happens again, then the mouse may have gone faulty otherwise if the mouse is ok, it will work.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I have not seen this problem before but I suggest you reset the CMOS. If you find your way into the motherboard face you will find a small square with a circle in the middle of it. It is the CMOS reset trigger. This will rest the BIOS ans hopefully bring you back to full screen. Do your research and be careful. .

I can't get past the initial login screen for my Gateway dx4870. when i enter the password it says incorrect password

Reboot the computer As the computer is booting repeatadly press the F8 key as the computer is booting

If done properly the user should get to a screen similar to the below screen.

Select the option for Safe mode command prompt only

Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Debugging Mode

Start Windows Normally
Reboot
Return to OS Choices Menu

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice

select safe mode with command prompt

Click start run type cmd press Enter

black screen should open DOS mode

this will vary depending on your operating system

type in net user username

For eg. If you want to change administrator password , type net user Administrator

it will prompt you to enter the new password

enter the new password and the password is changed

hope this helps

Hi,

You can visit the link below if you need to login but you forgot your password.

There also may be free software programs you can use to change or reset the password to the user account. You will need to do a google search to find such programs.

Forgot my windows vista login password

Try to login to safe mode with administrator login and change the password for your user account.

There is no way to bypass user security otherwise in Windows Vista.
