Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Display says 60hz always

Ignore it. That rate (60hz) is what the cable provider is refreshing at as the signal is sent to the box, but the TV will then refresh at 120hz. I know that the manual does not state this, but the TV is working correctly. Go to the "menu" and "picture" and set it accordingly.

Picture very small in upper left corner -- help!

Try using another input. Does this problem persist? If so, then you must go through the TV settings. If nothing in the settings helps, then it might be a hardware problem. If the problem doesn't persist with other inputs, the problem doesn't lie with the TV itself.

Samsung SyncMaster S24B300 is not in optimum mode of 1920x1080 60Hz as it should, but in 1360x768 ocasionally is starting up in 1920x1080 but most of the time in lower resolution mode, could FixYa he

Using our onchip Intel graphics we experienced the same problem, where the aspect ratio was displayed wrong using the native resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz while black bars show on the left and right side.

The problem was partly solved by using custom timing settings as you can find below:
Front Porch: 90 and 19
Back Porch: 148 and 22
Sync Width: 42 and 4
Active: 1920 and 1080
Scan rate: (auto 67.5) and 60

Then you just have to move the image down a couple of pixels using the buttons on the display.

Click anywhere on the desktop so that the word "Finder" appears to the right of the Apple logo on the top left corner of the screen.
Select the APPLE logo in the upper left hand corner.
Select "About this Mac..."
That will pop up a windows with the version information from MacOS X.

When I hit the info button on my new 46" Samsung UN46C6500, it says my screen resolution is 1920x1080i @ 60Hz. It does this on my HD receiver box with COX Cable and on my PS3... This LED LCD is...

Its probaly becouse your signal from COX is not giving you 1080P.. your getting 1080i.. which is interlaced or in other words only half. this would explain the 60 hz. no cable company puts out 1080P yet.

I heard a pop noise then picture went out. when i power on tv i get a red flashing light instead of greenlight in left corner of tv. I have a 2002 pioneer 50 inch plasma

The 'POP' noise was likely a capacitor saying farewell.

If you are able, AND confident with electrics - take the TV apart (UNPLUG)

These TVs are very heavily populated with Surface Mount components - I suspect that you will likely find - what looks like a small can (half a centimetre in diameter, with 'candyfloss' coming out of it..)
YES - You could get a replacement from somewhere like Maplin / Radioshack......
Replacement will work - However...you really need to establish WHY it went Pop, and get to the root cause (Excess power feed / drain)
Realistically - without sounding too negative . . other components would have also been affected but not necessarily killed.

Good Luck.

Magnavox 37MF337B/37 overscan only sometimes problem

This TV has a pixel resolution of 1366x768p

It will accept a 1920x1080i input from a high def source , but running a PC at 1920x1080i/p will cause the problems you describe, depending on what the PC is sending to the TV, because PC signals are not the same as high def.

Your PC should be set to a resolution as near to 1366x768 as possible. My PC allows 1280x768 and 1360x768. Try one of these for best results.

There are no settings on the TV to solve this problem.
