Trying to take off the dvd drive, can you help?

If you mean that you're manually trying to remove the battery then you will have to remove the keyboard for that. Just did it the other day on a client's notebook of 3000 series. There's one screw holding the dvd drive in place which you will see as soon as you raise the keyboard.

I meant manually trying to remove the dvd drive sorry, just got off the phone with that client with a 3000 series. Was thinking about the battery when I was typing.
