Hampton bay ceiling fan (by 3 users)

When replacing the 3 speed switch, what color wires go to 1, 2, 3, and L on the switch. On this fan I have yellow and purple wires coming out of a little black box. The 3rd is an orange wire that comes from the forward/reverse switch. The 4th is a black wire coming out of a plug/receptacle that connects to rest of the fan circuitry. The problem is: I was replacing the 3 speed switch and it brought apart in my hand and I don't know where to terminate the wires. need to know which wires go where on 3 speed switch. The white comes out of the reverse switch, the black out of the harness and the yellow and blue wire out of the black box. They had all come out of the switch as it fell apart. scorpion@sutv.com
