Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Disconnect the blue harness from the motor control board and start the machine. If the machine acts like it is going to run (but it won't because the plug is disconnected) then the MCU will need to be replaced. But if there is no difference in the problem and the machine reacts in the same way as before and after the MCU connector disconnecting then the problem is related to faulty CCU.CCU is main control board.Check for voltage going to Central Control Unit (CCU) by listen
ing for a click in the CCU when unit is plugged in. If no click
Other possibilities to be checked are:--
1. Press PAUSE/CANCEL button on the touch-pad twice.
2. Drain the unit, then check that the Drain hose and Drain Pump
Filter is clear of foreign objects.
3. Check/ Replace Touch-pad/LED assembly.
4. Check harness connections.

To unlock the door press RINSE HOLD to finish the cycle and unload the washer. If this doesn't unlock then try and unplug the washer and check, try this 2-3 times.
If it still doesn't unlock then press and hold the start button and check whether you are getting any error message. If there is no error message then you would need to replace the door latch or check the wiring to the door latch. To manually unlock the panel--
1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Remove the lower toe panel.
3. Reach up along the inside of the front panel and locate the bottom of the door latch assembly.
4. Located on the bottom of the door latch assembly is a tear-drop shaped tab.
5. Gently pull the tab down about ¼” or until a click is heard.
6. The door may now be opened.
Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.
