I have a 1999 Sable and the ABS motors seem to come on and off randomly. I cant aford to fix the problem. Perhaps pulling the fuse and disconnecting the ABS system would be an easy solution?

yes you can do this then car will revert to conventional braking system ,but the ABS motors do run randomly to maintain pressure so its nothing to worry about perhaps motors are a bit noisey which is why you can hear them ,I would advise you to leave well alone to be honest as i think teh system is working ok abeit a bit noisey

Noisey suction motor

These motor/pumps often are noisy, but if this is something new, the motor/pump bearings could be dry or worn out. Try a little WD40 on the bearing, but you will have to open the unit and it may be assembled with tamper proof screws!

Dryer squeqks while rotating

It could be a noisey idler pulley that belt rides on, or a noisey drum bearing or drum glides, or even possibly a motor bearing going bad. Would need to be checked by repairman to determine exact cause.

I have a 2003 Mercedes C240. When it starts up there's a humming noise that quits after a few minutes, but when the car starts moving it starts clicking.

THE HUMMING NOISE IS YOUR SECONDARY AIR INJECTION PUMP. THEY TEND TO BE NOISEY AT START-UP. IF IT IS NOT WORKING COREECTLY IT WILL SET A CHECK ENIGNE LITE. THE CLICKING NOISE IS NORMAL IF IT GOES AWAY AFTER WARM-UP. THESE MOTORS ARE NOISEY WARMING UP DUE TO THE HYDRAULIC LIFTERS.

Very noisey

Hi there. This noise you are hearing is coming from the gear case (transmission). You may have some alignment issues within the gear case that is causing the grinding. there also is a clutch system here in this location as well. i would have a look before the gear box locks up. this will shut the entire unit down if so.

please rate and god bless.
