What tonnage are unit Carrier A/C Model FB4ANF30000ACAA ?

Tonnage is not used much as a rating anymore. That model is a 3 ton. The rating used now is either BTU or SEER.

I have found this model number on the side of the AC unit outside my house and I need to know the tonnage rating. I know it is only 10 seer but can't find this info on the tag.

Did you include the make and model information?
I only see your question worded this way:

I have found this model number on the side of the AC unit outside my house and I need to know the tonnage rating. I know it is only 10 seer but can\'t find this info on the tag.

Tell us more-- or go on line and do a search for the make and model-- Can you do that?

I was just trying to find information on this model such as seer rating and how many tons it is

Check the model of you unit. Normally Maximum manufacturers shows the tonnage in the modewl itself. e.g........ xyz 018 means 1.5 Tr .. abc.....cor24 mni... 2TR.

Normally 12000 BTU means 1 TR. which shows as 012 or 12 like this.........

And also with amphs you can find out thew tonnage. Amphs for 1 TR under 220 vts will be maximum 4.8 amphs. If it's 1.5 TR........ 8.5 amphs

Can I mix brands/tons when installing AC unit to existing coils?

First off - the 'rule of thumb' is 600' per ton of Air Conditioning. In other words your old unit is a 2 ton unit. So - 2 tons x 600' = 1200'. As you can see if you install the 2.5 ton unit - you will be installing a AC that 'could' cool a 1500 sq ft house (2.5 x 600' =1500 sq ft.). Slightly more than what you need; and the 3.5 ton unit is 'way to big,' (3.5 x 600' = 2100 sq ft.).

Note: fyi - many in the AC business will sometimes refer to tonnage in btu's, i.e. 1 ton = 12000 btu - hence a '2 ton unit' can also be referred to as a 24000 btu unit and vice versa.

So... from the above - you can easily see that "2 tons" of Air conditioning is what is required to cool the 'average' home of 1100 sq ft. "roughly speaking."

Note: it is always best to have a professional 'size' your cooling/heating needs.

One of your questions was could you 'mix tonnage?'

The answer is 'usually you don't mix the tonnage of your outside/inside units.' However, professionals sometimes do (mix the tonnage) in certain situations, and installing a 2.5 ton outside unit with an existing 2 ton inside unit is often done, however, there are some 'tech issues' here and - I would "again" recommend that you call a Service Tech to help you with the sizing/mixing of your cooling/heating needs.

hope this has helped

I cannot find the seer rating or tonage of a Goodman air conditioner serial number 9908524497

My books do not go back far enough to get you the Seer rating, it is a 5 ton unit and as the serial number shows it to be a 1999 model, it is probably a 10 SEER unit, maybe a 12 seer, but not likely, but I can tell you that it was manufactured on the 8th week of 1999.
I hope that I have helped, have a great day.
Sincerely,
Paul Gibson

What is the seer rating and tonnage of a bryant model fb4anf030

The Tonnage appears to be 2 1/2 ton,
024=24,000 BTU=2ton
030=30,000 BTU=2 1/2ton
036=36,000 BTU= 3ton

I dont think you have the correct Model Number, Look
on the outdoor unit, the model number might start with a 38. Hint Carrier and Bryant Products are the Same, just different nametag

Based on my serial no and model can you tell me

The unit is a 2 1/2 ton unit. Look at the model number and note the 030 in the sequence of numbers. That tells you the size.
