Question about McCulloch 26cc Gas Blower Mcb3208

Open Question

Re McCulloch MB3202 gas blower: My blower will idle "forever", but as soon as I try speeding up, the engine dies. Apparently it is not getting enough fuel. Is the fuel reservoir filter clogged and blocks the flow of fuel, or is it the carburator?

SOURCE: I have a mcculloch backpack

I am assuming the carburetor is ok. Check your spark arrestor. This is a screen located at muffler exit. Usually just a screw holds it in, pull it out with a pair of pliers and clean or replace. I usually hold it with pliers and burn it clean with a little bernzamatic torch. If that doesn't fix it probably a carburetor problem.

Mcculloch MB3202 32cc gas blower it will run for 10 to 20 mins or so then shuts off it seems that it's getting to warm then shuts off it will start back up but then shuts off again. Why is this doing that?

You could be running the oil gas mixture with not enough oil. The high speed jet could be running the engine lean. The cooling air thru the engine could be blocked by debris/leafs.

Dies when i give it gas

Sounds like your carburetor either needs cleaned or the needles need adjusted. Try turning them just a bit and continue trying to accelerate the engine. If your carb has adjustable needle screws, one will be the low speed adjustment and the other will be the high speed adjustment. You'll know when you have the right one when the motor starts to run just a bit better after adjusting the correct one.

Mcculloch MB3202 anti-vibration back pack leaf blower, runs better at the middle setting of the choke than it does if it's wide open the way it should be. Can't get it to blow leaves well. Owners manual lost. ANY ADVICE???????? New gas, spark plug starts on the first pull but just doesn't give out like it should.
