The controller (timer) is faulty.
If it is under warranty - have it replaced.
If not - we'll need the exact model # to help you out.

This issue is due to a loose wire/connection on the keypad or due to moisture entered the control board. This issue can be resolved by checking the keypad and the connections carefully. However, you may also need to check the other connections as well. Use a hair dryer and blow air on the keypad. Please check the following schematic for details--
