First of all do you have enough suction? The cleaner originally should have come with a suction gauge. If not the local pool store will have one. How old is your cleaner? When the G3 and G4 cleaners gets over a year or two a number of things wear out and effect the performance. Inspect the diaphragm especially next to and under the small retaining ring and make sure there are no holes or tears. If the diaphragm is over a year old they sometimes get too spongy and effect performance. Also the small rubber pad that holds the large pad can get worn down and stick to the floor and wall. As parts wear down you can get play or slop between the large disc, the small pad, and the foot plate that snaps all the disc to the body. Also the rear cassette where the hose connects gets slop there as well. all of this slop, especially when combined can make the cleaner performance lack greatly. very common to have a cleaner not climb the walls or reach the far end of pool as it once did

My aquabot keeps trying to come out of the pool

Aquabots are interesting little robots! They're made to clean the entire surface of the bottom of the pool, and in regards to cleaning the sides, they are programed to climb walls, but once they reach the surface the programming recognizes the specific angle of the top and sends it back down the wall. Normally an Aquabot should never leave the pool. It should reach the surface and go back down the wall to continue cleaning. Good luck!

My zodiac cleaner keeps climbing the wall and then sucks air

You need to adjust the suction down on the cleaner. This type of cleaner only needs about 10lbs of vacuum pressure

My cleaner works for a few minutes, climbs a wall and rolls over onto it's head.

If the problem always occurs when the pool cleaner starts to climb walls, there are a few things that you will want to check. First of all, if your pool has a vinyl liner, this pool cleaner has limited climbing ability. You need to check the flow of water through the cleaner with your flow gauge. It might be low. If it is, increase the water flow. Also, make sure that your hose weight positioning is correct. The cleaner should sit at a 45 degree angle at the bottom of the pool when resting when the weights are right.

I put the eyeball diverter on my pool and the cleaner runs up to it and the hose hangs on it. I keep my hose laying out strait when not in use. It does seem to stay on the sides also.

If the eyeball diverter is not working, you might need to install a wall climb adjuster (Part #K12065). This will keep the automatic pool cleaner on the pool's floor and walls and away from pool obstructions. Make sure the narrow end of the wall climb adjuster points down to the drive tubes.

Sounds like your impeller is clogged, you might be able to remove the pump basket and feel inside the impeller to see it it's impacted with debris. You may have to pull apart the pump to clean it thoroughly.

We bought new feet for the navigator and put them on and it won't climb the walls we tried to to change the seetings to number 3 and it still won't climb.

you'll need to increase the suction so it will climb. If it used to climb before and now it won't, even with new feet, it may be a bearing problem with either the turbine or the A-frames. You may have to get a turbine kit with a-frames to make it work like new again.

It stops after 30 min. Lays on it's back then starts up again. Has trouble climbing the walls to the very top

There are several problems that could make these automatic pool cleaners fail to climb the walls. The cleaner could be too heavy. Empty and wash the filter bag and add floats if necessary. If there are excessive amounts of algae on the wall, you will need to brush the walls first. The algae can prevent the cleaner from climbing. Make sure that the temp is at least 65 degrees in the pool. Make sure that there is no water in the handle and that the bushes arent worn. If the cleaner is too light, add weights. Make sure there is nothing caught in the impeller.

My turbo bot does climb the walls of my pool. I have had it checked out with service. they could not find any problems. Any suggestions?

Not too uncommon. The float design is such that many units lack enough bouyancy to work well on wall climbing. New floats or added floats may help. S. Christian dansker01@msn.com
