SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

We lost the software disc, please help!! Bad mummy and daddy alert

If you can't find the software, the only thing I can think of is some free software like from Ulead, Pixir, BeFunkey, Gimp, Photoshop express. Or if your camera does have a memory card, buy a external card reader and use that to transfer the pictures and videos to your computer.

Sony cybershot dsc-w130 keeps showing "reinsert the memory stick" when i try to take a pcture or adjust telephoto when i do it does not make any difference

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC T70 and it keeps saying "Reinsert memory stick" whenever I turn on the camera or slide down the camera lid. Also, whenever I try to view the pictures on my laptop it shows "Please reinsert the memory stick" something along those lines. As I have been researching for the solution, I would have to format the memory card. However, I wouldn't want to lose the pictures as I just took many as from the holiday last week. The only problem is the memory card, I tried using another memory card and it works fine with the camera. There is nothing wrong with the camera.\r\nCan someone please help me how to solve the memory stick problem? It would be great. Ty.

I have an lg 8700 with a kingston 1 g memory disc.

The solution for this problem for all Cell phone is the following: With a memory card you need to go to Menu, then to settings and tools, on Cell phone, tool down to Memory, then click on my pictures. You should see all of the pictures you have in the phone memory. Click on Options then click on Move, and your pictures should come up. Mark ALL and this will check off all the pctures you want to move to the memory card, or you can just select what you want. After this is done you should be able to take that memory card in an adapter that fits in your computer. Click on start, then explore , then select removeable disk E(or whatever else your system has. Then create a folder, drgagg over the filed pictures. The if you want to delete on memory card you can and it will leave you more space. You can also retain them on the card and put it back in your cell phone. ALL DONE.

Cant get pics off the phone

If you have a memory card installed on the phone and the photos are on the cards memory and not the phone memory, simply remove the card, place in in an approprate card reader on any computer, and you should be able to tranfer the photos. However, if the phone is not a GSM device, or does not have a memory card, you are pretty much out of luck.
