Question about Sewing Machines
Hi,I was having so many issues with my Pfaff QE 4 until...I was told NO machine likes coats and clarks thread and I was choosing the correct setting sensormatic free motion, but foolishly not disengaging the idt in the back. Also, my dealer recommended that I change the pivot height to -2. So I along with all of this and trying Gutermann thread things are going pretty smoothly now!

Are you using the right needles, size and type? Before, you wreck your material, take it in and have it serviced. I know everyone hates to pay for service, but if you like your machine it will be worth it to have it running at its peak. Just like a car, we spend tons on them but expect a sewing machine to never need anything. Remember, it is worth it.
