Hi, I am sure step 1 will resolve the issue but if step 1 does not help , then you can try the other steps mentioned below.
Cheers :)

Step1>Try to log in the web page(website) in another browser.(Just like Internet explorer is a browser, similarly Firefox is another browser), therefore try firefox instead of Internet explorer . Firefox is free , you can download it from here ...
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
(select RUN when prompted by this software )

(If step 1 does not help resolve the issue , then try step 2 )

Step2>» Configure the Security Settings for the Trusted Sites Zone in Internet Explorer...

  1. Click the Start button, point to Programs and click the Internet Explorer icon.
  2. Click the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
  3. Click Trusted Sites, and then click Default Level.
  4. Click Sites, type the URL of the site you want to add in the Add this Web site to the zone box.
  5. Click Add, click the OK button, and then click the Apply button.
(If step 2 does not help resolve the issue , then try step 3 )

Step3>Verify Internet Explorer Is Using 128-Bit Encryption
  1. In Internet Explorer, on the Help menu, click About Internet Explorer.

  2. The level of encryption on your computer appears next to the words Cipher Strength.

  3. Verify that the Cipher Strength value appears as 128-bit.

  4. Click the OK button.
Step4>Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Slate and AutoComplete History

To clear the SSL slate and AutoComplete History:
  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Content tab.
  3. Click the Certificates tab, and then click Clear SSL State.
  4. When the message SSL Cache Successfully Cleared appears, click OK.
  5. Click the Personal Information option, and then click AutoComplete.
  6. Under Clear AutoComplete History, click Clear Forms.
  7. When a confirmation window appears, click OK.
  8. Click Clear Passwords.
  9. When a confirmation prompt appears, click the OK button.
  10. Click OK two more times to close the Internet Options window.
Step5 >Verify that Internet Explorer is Configured to Use SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0
  1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  2. In the Settings box, scroll to the Security menu.

  3. Click to select the Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 checkboxes (if they are not already selected).

  4. Click the OK button.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Every time I try it it sais its blocked and says its dangerous

You haven't told us what you are trying to do. I suspect that you are trying to access a website that your internet security software says is dangerous. If this is true, you can open up your internet security software and allow that website--but when you get these messages they are displayed for good reason. You may be trying to log onto a site that is known for stealing your personal information or known for trying to install some kind of malware on your computer.

I had the problem of internet explorer displaying "internet explorer cannot display the webpage after I had done a Windows update from the microsoft website and it restarts after its done the updates...

I you restore it to before the update time, then it will work again.
In the search bar type restore point and select "Restore your computer to an earlier time".
Select the time just before Windows made the update, (Windows creates a restore point each time it runs an update) it is just a question of how far back you want to go.
You cannot return to a forward date, so if say you went back a week , you cannot then go forwards again.
This process rarely upsets data.

Unable to sign in to my emails. keeps going to internet explorer cannot display the webpage..

You need to be online to check E-mails-and Internet explorer cannot display a webpage if your not online-- So it seems the problem is you cannot get online.
If your trying to get on the internet with a wireless connection.and running WINDOWS, .and I am assuming you DO have a wireless router all set up and configured to broadcast the signal (not hidden) ..
try resetting the router (disconnect the power to it for a few minutes) next --be sure the wifi switch is enabled on the netbook---next---go to CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS--right click oin your wifi card and choose properties--highlight INTERNET PROTOCOL and choose properties and be sure "OPTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY" is checked--Does the laptop "SEE" the router?
You will need your SSID to logon to the router(internet)

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

If the error comes only with a particular website then it is possible the website is not operating or has closed down.

But if the error is coming with all websites then your internet connection may be faulty. Hard to provide much more help without details of your internet connection type, the operating system on your laptop, etc.

Internet explorer cant display the webpage?

Yes 7 or 8? If 7 then I recommend Reset IE7 Settings in Internet Options under Advanced Tab.

This has worked for some solutions though different websites, i.e Facebook was one of them. I don't know why but the problems I'm seeing are Social Site Related hmmmm

ACER NETBOOK - CANNOT ACCESS ONLINE COURSE MODULES AFTER*

It sounds like two possible problems - a browser problem or a website problem. To test if it is a browser problem, try downloading Firefox if you are using Internet Explorer. IE has problems with all sorts of things. Also check in "Help" top toolbar that your browser supports 128 bit encryption. Possibly you may have to install java or lower security settings, some sites require session cookies, to correct that simply lower the cookies to accept all. Usually browser problems of this nature will also not let you use secure sites such as online banking - if you can access those sites - probably your browser is fine and it is a website problem.

Some sites that are interactive using Joomla or Mambo based CMS(content management systems) get a glitch where even after logging in, you must login a second time in order to do anything, the copyright tag at the bottom of a page should tell if it is that type of site. If so contact the web admin of the problem.

Unable to log onto outlook, facebook etc

Could it be your security settings?

Open your computer's Security Centre, or in Control Panel select Windows Security Centre. You should see if your Firewall is on or not.

To bypass firewall with the programs you want, go to the log in screen, or main address of the site, copy the address (select full address and press Ctrl + C)

Now From Tools menu, Select Internet Options.

Select Security tab.

click on Trusted Sites, then Sites

Now paste the address of the site you copied into the "add a website to the zone" section.

and click "Add" to make it appear in the window below.

Now you should have access to all pages within this site.
