Hi,

For your Windows Vista based laptop, you can use MS Office PowerPoint from either Microsoft Office 2007 or Microsoft Office 2010 suite.

You can purchase MS Office Home and Student 2007 from here

To purchase or download the free trial version of MS Office Home and Student 2010, click here

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa

Tip

Export Word Data to Power Point

Format Word document in following manners:
1. Titles as HEADING1
2. Contents as HEADING2
3. In Office Word 2003
File Menu-->Send to --> Microsoft Office Powerpoint
Now you can see your exported presentation in newly open MS Power Point Window.

Tip: In MS Word 2007/2010 you can add Send to Microsoft Power Point Button to quick access bar as:
Office Button --> Word Options --> Customize --> Enable All tools --> Select Send to MS Office Power Point --> Add --> OK

Now you can follow the same steps in MS Word 2007 too.

Cheers ;)

But i dont have powerpoint.i have powerpoint viewer

Power Point Viewer will allow you to view Power Point Documents, but it will not allow you to create a Power Point presentation. If you want to create a Power Point presentation you will either need to purchase Microsoft Officer, or take a look at free alternatives like OpenOffice: http://www.openoffice.org

My computer will not let me create a power point slide show

Just cause you have a new compuer it does not mean you have all of office suite. Look for word, excel and power point on your accessories button. You have to activate them and buy them for about $100 or so to buy them from Microsoft.

Power point viewer 2007

libby68, if you have any part of 2007 you may be able to down-load PowerPoint Viewer 2007 at this site;
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=048dc840-14e1-467d-8dca-19d2a8fd7485&displaylang=en

I'm not sure what it is you are asking for. Do you have a problem with your video graphics card? Or is there a problem while in PowerPoint Viewer 2007? What information do you need & for what program.
