Hi,

Replace the Fuse. If it keeps blowing, then it has a short in it or just a loose wire from the heater. Open and check. If you have an ohm meter, check the heater. The reading should not be infinite.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

If the fuse is blowing, that means that the converter is not providing right voltage.

The converter is a machine like this.

Diagnosis is done reading AC voltage at converter output with an adequate multimeter, and then verifying specifications of the appliance.

We bought a Zojirushi NS-WAC18 rice cooker, but I lost the user manual. Where Can I find it on line?

Most of the Zojirushi rice cooker manuals are available from the company's support site: http://www.zojirushi.com/support/manuals_ricecookers.html . For the NS-WAC18, see the manual for the NS-WAC10/18 manual. The direct link to the manual is http://www.zojirushi.com/servicesupport/manuals/manual_pdf/nswac10_18.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Rice cooker will not start. Wanting to know if its a replaceable fuse.

Good day!!!

commonly on all rice cooker problem if no power is THERMAL FUSE.....

Thermal fuse is for the protection of rice cooker it is blown automatically when the heat is exceed the normal temperature..

you can try to disable the fuse and connect the wire directly to test if the problem is on the thermal fuse but you need to replaced it to protect the machine..

please add a comment if you wish to order the parts and I will search it for you..

Does my Aroma rice cooker have a fuse?

Hi,
You have a bad connection because the wiring has been bent around too much and has failed...this will not be repairable and you need to replace the cooker...

Here is a tip that I wrote about rice cookers and the amount of rice and water needed...

How much Rice and Water go in the Cooker

Rice Cooker will not work

On the outside of the rice cooker you should locate a button. Push this down and when rice is cooked, the button should pop up (may or may not ring when finished). Once you see the button pop up (or hear it ring), you should leave the lid on for approx 15 minutes longer to finish steaming.

Rice cooker

First you have to make sure that the power outlet is working fine using a Multi Tester. Next is disconnect the Power Plug from the Rice Cooker and test continuity within the cord.  make sure those two are both working good.  next step is to open the Rice Cooker Bottom.  Again using a multi tester, Test the continuity of the Thermostat, make sure multi tester setting is on the ohm setting. reading should be zero, if reading is higher than 200 ohms, the thermostat is defective.  Which is the reason why your cooker is not turning on is due to an open in the circuitry.  Check warranty with the store you purchased it from or the manufacturer of the rice cooker.

Fuse

You can't plug electrical items which are 110v into 220v sockets...you need a bulky and expensive transformer to convert the electrcity to the correct voltage. It is the only way to 'step up' the voltage

It sounds like you have might have damaged the cookers beyond repair!
