Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Thats sounds like a case of a belt slipping or the drive motor reaching the end of its life.
My advice is too bite the bullet untill it has become totally faulty otherwise you may be replacing parts prematurely to their complete failure.
Alternatively you can replace the dvd-rom for the console. Good luck.
