SOURCE: left mouse button doesn't work

You need to check the mouse settings.
If the mouse settings are ok. Then you need to replace the mouse.

SOURCE: the wireless mouse works but the laser 5000

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.

SOURCE: wireless mouse not functioning

Being a guy, I started years ago rapping things a couple of times to get them to work - until I destroyed an expensive digital camera!
To my surprise however, I gave my MSK1056 a few gentle taps and, voila, it works.
Thanks

My wireless Logitech mouse stopped performing. I changed batteries. the red light comes on even before I changed the battery. I have had it about 3 months. Wal Mart told me to look on the back of mouse. ...

So much for Wal-Mart tech support.
If your mouse is not working, first check the batteries to be sure they are good.
You wireless mouse has a USB "antenna" or sending unit. It may have a button on it that says "connect." If so, push it.
The mouse itself has a little button on the bottom that says "connect."
Push that one next. It should now work.
If it doesn't, switch USB ports and try again.
And no, we don't charge for this answer.

My wireless mouse takes battries with short

hi,
I've got a Microsoft wireless Intellimouse and the batteries in that last for months - and it's on all the time. My wife bought a no-name mini wireless mouse and found the batteries last a couple of weeks.

The difference? My mouse takes two AA batteries, hers takes one AAA. So if you change mice(?) look for one that takes two AA batteries and stay away from any that don't.

Optical light on Mouse not working

Hello,

maybe the battery?
follow the steps below to troubleshoot the mouse
Wireless mouse does not respond (generic instructions)

Try to Resynchronize your device with the receiver(connector)
Follow these steps.:
Note When you synchronize the mouse or the keyboard with the receiver, put the device near the receiver and put other wireless keyboards and mouse at least 6 feet away.
1. Press the button on the receiver, and then verify that the light on the receiver starts to blink.
2. If a dialog box appears on the screen in several seconds, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Otherwise, go to the next step.
2. Press and release the Connect Channel button on the bottom of the mouse or the keyboard.
3. Check the green light on the receiver. A steady green light means the synchronization was successful. If the problem persists, try steps 1 through 3 again.
For the Wireless Notebook mouse: This issue can occur if the micro-switch on the bottom of the mouse is not released. Use a pin or a pen to try to release the button if it is depressed.
or
Try different port and restart your computer.
or
Reinsert the batteries or install fresh batteries
If you have the possibility check whether the problem is because of your computer or the device, try the mouse or the keyboard on a different computer.

How do i change the batteries in my logitech wireless mouse

Hi

On the bottom of the mouse, there is a tiny little button that has an image of a battery (it is very small).

Push that, and the covering that houses the batteries will pop up. You can then remove the covering easily to change the batteries.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

Microsoft wireless mouse 3000 - all lights are on; flash upon reset, but still doesn't work. Running Vista 64-bit.

Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly. Good luck!!!! Chawah.

Need Micro innovations OPM-602 manual.

I got one at a garage sale for a buck. Came here for a solution, but still couldn't get it open. I figured it out by breaking it!. Bad for me, good for you. I pried off the black cover and broke off a little tab. I'll explain how it works. Behind the two buttons there is a silver half oval. When you push down on the end of that half oval that's the farthest away from the mouse wheel, it pushes down on a little tab that is part of the black cover, and lets that tab clear a piece of plastic that it clips under. I broke off that tab by prying it. So, push down hard on the END of that little half oval and at the same time slide the black cover back. The mouse uses two AAA batteries. Good luck. That's the solution. Guaranteed!

Hp wireless mouse model #m971au pointer stopped working

Make sure your batteries are good and then, Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud
