Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
My iPhone has done the same thing, what I did for it was plug it into the charger for 15 seconds (roughly) unplug it for a few, then hold the sleep and wake buttons down. I had to try it several times but in the end it worked. Hope you have luck with this!

Try holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons until you see the apple logo cycle.
sometimes it has to be held for longer than 30 seconds.
