Check for lose connection on VGA cable from cpu to monitor.

Samsung monitor goes blank after working perfectly for a period of time.


Have you checked monitor settings Carl? Some are set to sleep after a certain period of time. Mine was set to sleep after 1 hour (unknown to me) until I reset it. =)

it is a bad screen and or digitizer , the new ones are known to go bad always ck before you install it if done yourself if not take it back

My HP Pavillion G6 laptop screen goes black if not tilted in two certain positions


Sounds like the cable feeding the inverter is either faulty or has a bad connection. You will need to take the laptop to bits. See utube video.

The hinge is probably pinching the LVDS cable or else the cable is loose/tight. This requires a complete tear down and reseating the video cabling.

I have a sony vgn-sz430n and the screen has gone nearly black. At certain angles and with certain lighting, the screen shows some images. They include: Vaio Recovery Center (with a totally blank window)...


Ok ! So try one thing remove HDD from the laptop and then start the laptop.And i am sure that u will see that the screen gone black at certain points. So dude its LCD problem . Go to nearest Laptop repairing center and he can change your LCD. then it working properly

Hi, first of all check your AVI cord by changing it or check your settings if it's set on timing off at certain intervals. then after all said and done format your system.

Blank Monitor


Try your monitor on another computer, just to make sure it's the monitor and not a video adapter problem in the computer. It may be possible to fix it if you can find a reliable computer or TV service shop nearby. However, the cost may not be worth it for a 2-year old monitor. Unfortunately, the best solution is probably to buy a new one. : (
