The possible problem is a chipped bone fragment from the extraction. Look around and palpatate the area and look for white areas when releasing the pressure. An exray will also help to locate the bone if it is indeed a fragment loose..... Guy

What determines whether you need a walker?

I am not sure if your trying to get it on insurance but the same reasons Medicare will pay for one should also apply to whether or not the need is there.

If you can honestly say all that is listed below applies to you then you medically need one.

1) The patient has a mobility limitation that significantly impairs his/her ability to participate in one or more mobility-related activities of daily living (MRADL) in the home.

- A mobility limitation is one that:
a) Prevents the patient from accomplishing the MRADL entirely, or

b) Places the patient at reasonably determined heightened risk of morbidity or mortality secondary to the attempts to perform the MRADL, or

c) Prevents the patient from completing the MRADL within a reasonable time frame;

2) The patient is able to safely use the walker; and

3) The functional mobility deficit can be sufficiently resolved with use of a walker.

If all of the criteria are not met, the walker will be denied as not medically necessary. These are not my words but come from here

Basically if you can pass what Medicare considers medically necessary then that answers your question. Hope this helps.

My upper and lower have become red and swollen. Any possible reasons and treatments that could help me? I have no insurance so I'm in seek for home remedies first.

Sounds like gum decease due to neglect of daily brushing, flossing, and finish with anti bacteria mouth wash. Myself, when I feel pain from tooth infection, I brush, floss, gargle with anti bacteria mouth wash, then irrigate with pressurized water using Waterpik. Seems to reverse tooth infection, but I never had gum decease, so I'm not sure this strategy would work on you, but I'm sure procuring Waterpik ($50) is cheaper than what dental hyginist would charge.

I found a hard lump in my 4yr olds armpit. What could this be???

It is highly unlikely but possible that it is what you fear...cancer. I will bet it is a swollen gland and is likely much better by now. If it is not much better by now you will want to take your child to a doctor for an examination. Typically cancer lumps are not painful while swollen glands are.

Hie i have tooth with a hole and now very painful i cant even take coldwater anymore and am waking up in the morning that whole side painful, how best can i deal with please help cant take it anymore?

You need to go to a dentist.
Do Internet search for "Dentist Your town and state'
For example I live near Houston: I would search 'Dentist Houston Texas'
Call a dentist tomorrow and they will pull the tooth or fill it.
After that you will feel better.
