You have to read your manual for instruction on that. If, you don't have one go to singerco.com and download one for free. You can cause damage if you don't clean and oil properly.

Singer sewing machine 4562 is stuck in reverse. How can I fix this?

There is a lever button that you push, usually on the right front of the machine. Push it back in then pull it outward and sometimes I have to raise it up just a little and it will come loose. Then the machine will sew forward.

I am having a difficult time finding pressure feet for my Singer 4562 such as button hole, button sewing, embroidery, walking foot, quilting foot, etc.

You should be able to find presser feet for your machine as long as you know what type of shank your machine takes. Just confirm that whatever you choose will fit a Singer model 4562. You can even purchase a snap-on shank adapter and then purchase snap-on feet for your machine.

How to replace the presser bar lifter on singer sewing machine model 4562?

I just checked Sewing Parts Online, and they have the lifter for your model in stock for $8.98. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have the service manual in stock, but if you call them, they are very nice about ordering it for you at a reasonable price--they're very fair, and no, I don't work for them.

It's also helpful to get a parts list. I checked the singer site by typing "parts list" in the search box, and in the 4000 series although they don't have a 4562, they DO have a 4572, and it's probably close enough to show you the assembly and how it's put together.

Singer 4562 t bobbin case won't fit properly, what am I doing wro

Make sure the bobbin case sets sort of on top and not under the ridge of the metal ring. There is a small latch on the upper left of the bobbin case. It is metal. rotate the latch to cover the bobbin case and this should stabilize the case without making it immobile
