# How do i use square root on my TI-36x solar calculator?

I know the answer, the square root key is next to the division sign to the left, just type the number you wish to find the square root of then press than key.

There is a dedicated key for the function. The key is labeled as on the third line of the table below. You enter a positive number, press the key and then hit [=]. Hope it helps.
