This error message usually happens when the date on your computer is incorrect. It is also an indicaton that the CMOS battery is old.. The battery is easy to replace but rarely needed.
Double check your date by right clicking on the date on the right side of the tool bar; adjust date/time
If this doesn't work let me know.

SOURCE: sec error expired certificate

Assuming you are trying to log onto a website and getting a certificate error, you will want to check your time and date settings. if they arent up to date all certificates that try to load will show errors.

WONT LOAD ON PC

Hello Kevin Penrose,

SSL certificates are to secure sites, they are issued by Trusted CA's such as Entrust and are sent out through your OS updates (e.g. Windows Updates). You can get the latest update from Microsoft if you are using a Windows based system using the following link: How to get Root Certificate update for Windows

If you are receiving a certificate expired error, this could be caused by the time on your system being incorrect. Make sure that you have the correct time, see the following link for the steps: Microsoft Corporation

If you are still receiving the error after checking the above, please provide more details in regards to the error, if you can provide a screenshot or a URL to the site that is giving you the error that might help provide the key to the issue.

Also, it could be that the poker site is no longer using a certificate that is trusted and that is why you are receiving the error. You should have the option to view the certificate that is causing the error. If you provide the Issuer I will be able to provide more info as well if it is a trusted CA certificate or not.

Thank you

Sec error expired certificate

This sounds like a "Security Certificate" issue, preventing access to a secured server or website. If that is correct you wil need your security or certificate provider (vendor) to update or re-issue your certificate to allow access to this site. Usually these types of sites are Education, Government, Business-2-Business "Clouds", 3rd Partty Access apps for resellers of IT/Telephony, HR/CRM or financial. A certificate will not be hard to acquire should you have a valid reason.

Hope this helps!

Check the clock on your computer and make sure it is set to the correct date and time. This can really mess certificates and cookies up.
