Where do you find a heating element for this older model Whirlpool dryer? Can I get one locally at Lowes, Home Depot or is it special order -- or do they even make them?

Whirlpool ler4634eq2 dryer will not heat

Might be helping you to find someone ( this could be yourself) with an electric multi-meter or an ohmmeter who knows how to use it.
What you would do unplug the machine, then take it all apart until you have access to the insides, and then test all of the wires, thermostats, fuses, elements, etc. until you find the bad one.
You would be using the ohmmeter function of the machine, and setting it on "ohms resistance".
Many stores, such and a hardware store, or like a Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, or the like sell these. Some are prices as low as
$ 15. .
Be sure to check the units you have already replaced to see if they were really bad.
Be blessed.

Hi this is Erik, my problem is that my dryer wont heat up it works but it doesnt heat up throws cold air

Your/The heating element needs to be replaced. You can repair it yourself...copy serial number and model type down and order element. Sears, Lowes, and Home Depot carry appliance parts for many names. You will have to order it. Relatively simple job...30-60 min job.

I have a dryer that runs but no heat. I removed the thermal fuse and hooked up a cont. Checker no sound. Is the fuse bad? Can I get a replacement at home depot or Lowes?

the fuses are usually found at an appliance parts store. You can google "whirlpool dryer parts" and find a parts store near you or one you can order from over the internet. I have replaced many of those, and they cost between 20.00 and 30.00 dollars.

Oven powers up but doesn't heat

When you turn the control to 350 or so the bottom heating element should heat up, if it don't, turn the control to broil if the top element heats up it is most likely the bottom element has burnt out and need replacing. You can find the elements at Home Depot or Lowes, if not in stock at the store, you can order it inside the store.

Whirlpool Gold Electric Dryer.

Hope your sitting down. There is not just heating elements in the dryer there are thermal switches that turn heating elements off & on like your house thermostat clicks off & on. Also there are overheating thermal switches to keep the elements from setting the dryer, clothes on fire. More than likely you overheating thermal switch has tripped, from lent in vent or pinched vent tube or normal failure. Some of these switches can be reset, others replaced. If you can not trouble shoot electrical circuits leave it to repairman. Switch $20.00 to $42.00 Labor service call cheaper to buy cheap new dryer. Could be heating element but most use only one with different inputs for heat. If your getting some heat not likely element.

Whirlpool electric stove

The ideal thing to do, would to be to replace the elements themselves. Most heating elements for stoves are universal and can be bought at lowes stores. I found your model number specific burner elements on a supply website for 42.00 each on the 8 inch and 35.95 each on the 6 inch elements. I am almost certain, you'll find these parts at lowes or home depot much cheaper. If this doesn't help, let me know, we will try another route.
