HI,
A 4 flash shutdown is a vertical stop condition, meaning that the vertical deflection circuit is shutting down. You need to purchase the service manual from :-
http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/5018366-sony-kp-43t75-kp-48s75-color
Once you have the manual, check the plus and minus 15 volt supplies on the G board. They are fused and the fuses are the easiest place to check them. If the fuses are blown, I would be thinking a bad convergence IC, as that is a common failure on these sets.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
On some projection models of Sony TV sets, this code means that T8005 (flyback transformer), or the associative components in the high voltage circuits are defective on the D board.

Thanks. I ordered the manual and we've located the parts - (IC1509(V out) is broken.
Q1505(V Pulse Buffer) is broken) and have ordered them.
Is there a trick to getting the High Voltage cables out? The manual mentions turning them 90 degrees counter-clockwise and then they would come out. I've tried and tried but can't get them to come out.
Thanks
