Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I am trying to set up a new laptop to have wireless internet, but the WEP kep i have is not working..i tried logging in to 192.168.1.1 but the password i have must have been changed- is there any other way to access the WEP key
There should be a recessed reset button on your router. Using a paper clip or something small press and hold the reset button. While holding the button, unplug the power adapter and continue holding the button for ten seconds plug the power adapter back in, and continue holding for another ten seconds just to be through. This should do a hard reset and your router will return to the default. For the default you have no username and your password is admin.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
