There must be a short in this circuit. First determine what devices are connected to the circuit that is not working. Unplug any device plugged into the non working outlets. Try again. If unit still trips, Try to start at the logical beginning of the circuit to see if you can begin disconnecting until circuit is clear. It could be a bad switch, light, or receptacle. What does the circuit control?

I have a 4 yr old vx6000c central vac that constantly blows house breaker

This unit requires a 15AMP 120 VOLT dedicated circuit. If there are other appliances or items on this central vacuum circuit, this could overload the circuit causing it to pop. The other issue that could be occurring is that the central vacuum is on a GFI circuit or ARC fault circuit. Central Vacuum Units are not designed to run on these types of electrical circuits.

there should be some loose connection or short circut, that is the only thing that can cause it.

15amp Eaton Arc fault breaker type BRAF trips every day at same time. There are no high amp electrical things plugged in. What is causing this? should I have it replaced?

"Arc fault" breakers trip when an arc occurs, either in a receptacle or a light switch, for example. An arc can be caused by an old light switch, when turning it on. An arc can also occur when you unplug a chord while the device is still turned on or running.

Starting tripping circuit breaker

Good Afternoon Dennis - Often when this occurs, it is because there are too many appliances on the circuit or something may have a weak or poor breaker. Try plugging the unit in a different location or on its own circuit. If the issue continues, then it could also be possible that something shorted within the unit. So in this case, because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. You may want to check and see if your dehumidifier is still under warranty and if so, reach out to the manufacturer to determine the exact warranty coverage. Thanks for allowing me to help you.

Amana electric dryer LE8317W2 tripped circuit breaker. Orange wire fried at end by heat element and was off terminal end. Also the purple wire was fried at thermostat end. I cleaned up connections and...

These units are totally repairable and will run for ever. Need to assume that other damage has occurred as a result of the failed shorted terminal connections.

Possible that the circuit breaker is defective caused by the dryer failure.

Assume that one of the components has shorted to the grounded frame of the dryer.

The 11 ohms of the heater is about right.

Confirm that heater element is not shorted to the dryer frame (heater housing)! This condition would have caused the initial wire terminals to fail and now trip the circuit breaker!

Use an ohm meter and check resistance between hot leads on back of dryer. Check resistance between each hot and neutral.

There is a switch located on the motor that connects power to the heater. When the motor is running the centrifugal switch closes. This saftey circuit confirms that the blower is running before heat is turned on. Check that the switch is not damaged from prior terminal short circuit failure, Repair kit is p/n WPL-501218

Timer is the next check. Same thing confirm that no damage to the switch circuits has occured. Last check thermal fuses and thermostars for short to netural.

Hope this helps?

Cuisinart juice sqeezer throws circuit breaker

Is this a new juicer, have you used this before without the circuit failure?
Most circuits in the house will be are 15 amp breakers. If the appliance has a high amp load then this can cause it to switch the breaker turning on or off.(due to to voltage spikes) I have a waffle iron that does the same thing if my refrigerator cycles while the iron is on.
There are a few things that could cause this. But before anything else I would try the juicer in a different plug that is on a different circuit, like the living room for example. If that works well then I would start looking at you may need to replace the circuit breaker, they do go bad.

DeLonghi EOF260 tripping the circuit breaker

It is probably an element that is causing the trouble, as it gets hotter, the insulation resistance breaks down, and if there is a weak spot or hot spot it causes the trip to operate.
I'm afraid it is a question of elmination, trying different functions, until you isolate the problem.

Flowtron Leaf-Eater Mulcher LE-900F

Shot in the dark here. If the mulcher is tripping and needs to turned off then back on, it's defective and should be replaced. If the circuit breaker in your house panel is tripping, try to use different circuit on a 20 amp circuit breaker. If your using a plug that is controlled by a GFCI receptacle or breaker, move to a different plug. GFCI receptacles tend trip when motor loads are applied. These are my best guesses since I'm not sure what exactly you are reseting.

Washing machine causing power failure in whole

Best answer to this is the circuit outlet is connected to is overloaded < to many items are plugged into it > could be 15-20 watt breaker and usage amounts to more than wattage allowence. If you can lighten the load on circuit by removing things < t.v.,appliances,lights,etc.> from the other outlets that are affected < shutting down when breaker trips > then you can compromise and use washer any time. The other suggestion is to dedicate a breaker to washer, < by adding breaker and wiring to outlet for washer >.

Circuit Breakers Comparison

A circuit breaker is an automatically-operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then has to be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation.
