Double check the needle hasn't moved as if its not in the correct position it will not go low enough to pick up the bobbin thread.
Make sure you have threaded top properly and the bobbin in put in the right way, each machine has its own direction the bobbin thread should come out ( eg clockwise)

How to threat a juki mog2516n

Stand in front of your machine and shake your fist vigorously. That's how you "threat" a machine.

Your JUKI has a thread guide inside the front door. Open that and follow the colors... Upper looper, Lower looper, right needle, left needle.

Are the feed dogs lowered? Look for a slide switch near the bottom of the machine either front or back.

Singer ce-200 stops sewing

Double check your threading,

1 first point to enter for tread (a).. then around little cog down and up again down.to needle thread it (b)

at A tuck on it.. make sure foot is up.. you will hear a loud click pulll thread down.. thread needle now while threaded... see that long metal horizontal plate under the machine but above the needle.. pull the thread behind it.. if you look at it you will notice the natural flow path.. you will hear a tiny click thats the sensor.. ok back to the top... where you first threaded the thread give it another little tuck you will hear a tiny click.. ok.. sensors seen the thread..

now unless your tensions are wrong.. it all should run.. with the right thread and materials.. also is the bobbin in ok? it unwinds anti clockwise.

The thread does not catch for the top stitch, and just bundles up underneath and turns into a big mess of threat. I was told that the tension on the bobbin needed to be adjusted. Is this right, and if...

You could try adjusting the tension on the bobbin but it rarely needs adjusting.
Have you checked that all the top tension discs are clean? Often a tiny bit of broken thread causes problems. Pull a thick piece of thread manually through all of them or prise gently open and look. Take out the bobbin case and put the hoover end in the empty space to **** out any stray threads, or shoot compressed air in there to blow it clean.
Remove the needle plate and check for broken threads underneath.
Try re-threading the whole thing and remember to keep the presser foot up as you do it to keep the top tension discs released.
I have found that a blunt needle can also cause this problem....no idea why.

Have you oiled your machine recently, perhaps something is stiff. Your manual should tell you where to oil. Good luck.

I have a Janome that looks similar to the Sewist 625e and is 25 years old. The underneath threat of the stitch is knotting up underneath. I have checked that I have threaded top thread correctly. I...

Hi. It may be that you need to adjust the tension. Put a different color thread on top than is in the bobbin and sew a couple of inches, then check. I suspect you'll find that the top thread is the one that is loose and knotting up. (It's hard to tell unless you're using two different color threads.) If that's the case, your upper tension needs to be tighter. Tighten it just a bit, then sew a few more inches and check again. Repeat until you don't see any of the top thread on the bottom (or maybe just a little bit) or the bobbin thread on the top (or maybe just a little bit.).

Hope this helps!

Threat is caught in the hook. Can't get it out.

You will have to take the hook out unless it is a rotary hook in which case a lot of patience picking it out bit by bit.

How do I threat the machine??

Hello. The best way for me to assist you is to provide you with the link to a free manual http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html
once you get to that link just insert the model number which is TS380. Then look on page 10 - preparation for threading. Enjoy.

Babylock seger machine keep breaking the left side needle.

Try rethreading the machine, and make sure the thread is not wrapped around anything. Then check the tension for the needles. Run a few inches of chainstich off slowly, while watching the thread and loopers make the loops over the finger. Your threads may be in the wrong position, or underneath the wrong parts to start.
