Put the unit on.
Press the clock or timer button down until the time begins to blink.
Use the navigation arrows to adjust the hour to the correct time
Press the clock or timer button again and adjust the minutes
Press the same buttton to save the time set.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

After a power surge, the display comes on. Yet, the buttons do not work. Is there a button to reset?

Is this a one time event? Try unplugging the unit from the wall for at least one hour and plugging it back in. Open the door and close it. I'm not familiar with this particular model but I have to guess that you push the stop/reset button to set the clock after plugging it in. It may be a bad touch pad or a bad door sensing switch.

Microwave won't set clock

It is most likely the keypad control board has been damaged, first! unplug the microwave oven for 5 minutes, if this works the micopressor will reset, if it fails the control board will need to be replaced, a costly venture.

First enter the cooking time just like normal, but then you hit the power button and then hit the digit indicating the power level you want. THEN hit start and it will start cooking.
