There's no way for you to fix this. You have the classic signs of a failed ccd unit. There's nothing you did to cause it and nothing you could have done to prevent it.
All you can do is to return the camera to Panasonic for repair. If the camera is out of warranty then demand a free repair on the basis that the sensor has clearly suffered a premature failure (it should have lasted a minimum of five years); the precedent for this kind of out of warranty repair was set a few years ago when Sony had a manufacturing defect on one of their sensors. It was used in many different makes and models and hundreds of thousands of free repairs were carried out.
