Question about Toshiba Qosmio G15 Notebook
When i turn on my laptop it boots normally then the screen goes dark. the safemode yields same results no matter which option i try. i cannot load new drivers and have no restore disk to install. there is no floppy drive installed. the hard drive fan is also very noisy, but working. any suggestions?
Perhaps it is trying to power an external monitor. Try this: Once your computer boots up, hold down the "fn" key (usually bottom row of keyboard) and then hit the key that shows what looks to be a monitor on it. Usually on the Toshibas, its the F5 key. This key will always be in the F key row. Let me know if this helps.
