Check your manual, and see if maybe there isn't a stitch pattern error. You can go online and download your manual at singerco.com for free. Also, their customer service is great, the number is 1-800-4singer

I have a Singer Confidence 7469Q Sewing Machine. It just stopped sewing, makes a beeping noise when i push foot pedal. Can you please help me? Thanks

Something is not in the correct position to sew...perhaps the presser foot is not down, the feed dogs, etc. Check to make sure you do not have a stitch (like zig=zag) selected that the presser foot or needle plate cannot accommodate.

I was free motion quilting, machine stopped. Beeps three times when I push foot pedal and won't sew

Hi there,

Check your buttonhole lever, left back of the machine. Pull it down and push it right up into the machine. Should solve your problem

My machine beeps and will not sew when the foot peddle is pushed. i checked the BH lever inside the light cover and the small black switch appears to be in the up position. any other ideas?

make sure the foot pedal cord is pushed in correctly
rethread the machine top & bobbin
clean under the needle plate where the feed dogs are for lint
also clean the bobbin are for lint or loose threads
change needles

but also the foot pedal could have gone out

Bernina 430 aurora will not sew, beeps when pedal is pushed...

If you took the door off check and make sure the lower thread sensor on the door is snapped on correctly. Many times it gets put on beneith the bar rather than over it.

Beeping Sewing Machine

Your problem is most certainly with the buttonhole switch. Firstly: Look if the buttonhole lever, left back of machine, is push up in position. The beeping sound is a warning message. Secondly Remove the light cover, left of the machine, loosen back screw and remove left hand screw completely. Check for a small black electric switch, follow the brown and green elecrtic wire, just back of the light. If you push the BH lever up and down the switch finger should also move up and down. If it stays down, the machine will not work and give a beeping sound. If the switch finger is stuck, push it up with the BH in top position. Hope this will help you

Beeps several times and stops sewing.

I had the same problem. Through trial and error, I found the problem was with the thread tension. Usually the thread became wrapped around the spool holder as it was coming off the spool. As you continue to press the pedal, tension is created. When you release the pedal, some slack develops in the threading process and you are able to sew a few more stitches before the beeping starts again. If the thread is caught on the spool holder, simple re-thread the machine. That generally works for me. Also you can try to push to spool holder in as close as possible to the spool pin to alleviate any gaps. If the beeping continues to happen, place you thread in a cup behind the machine and thread as usual. You can also purchase an inexpensive thread holder. I made one out of a wood block and other odds and ends found around the house. Good Luck!
