I had the same problem. The problem is the power button, it's not in short circuit, but I measure the
resistance when it is open, and it seemed to be a problem of it cable's isolation. We replaced the power
button's cables and now it's working.

You can replace the switch and the cables to assure the problem is fixed.

Good luck!, Esteban.

Hard disk not found message coming while installing windows server 2003 on Hp Proliant ML150 G5

You need to press F6 and load special drivers for your disk driver card
See which disk adapter your server has and get the drivers on a floppy disk
Put the disk into your computer before seutp, then click F6 when prompted
it will search your floppy drive for them

Can install Win2003 server

I am sure you can find one at www.hp.com. It is better than the floppy because it will also load all of the other drivers you need.

However, if you want to save some time you could pull a floppy drive and cable from a workstation.
You can open the server case and connect the drive for the purpose of loading your RAID drivers and pull it once they are installed.
I am pretty sure that most server MBs and power supplies still have a floppy connectors on them.

If this helps please vote for my solution.

I Install windows 2003 server on HP proLaint ML150 G5 not working

What means "then os is not working"? Was the system rebooting all the time, blue screen, a service was unable to start ...? The CPU fan is turning? Disconned the power cord and press power on for few seconds. Try another bootable CD. Is it still the same boot the system from a (bootable) USB Flash Drive or USB CD/DVD drive. Is this working?
