The Control Panel only says that the disk is getting electrical power (either through the USB port or via the external AC adapter) and that the "data" cable is connected to the disk and to the USB port on the motherboard. It does not indicate whether the "spinning" part of the disk really is spinning, and it does not indicate whether the electronics circuit-board underneath the spinning part has malfunctioned.

Try connecting it to a different computer.
If it still is not working, then you either have:
* a "dead" disk-drive
* a "dead" USB-to-disk-drive adapter

If it is under warranty, exercise the warranty to get it replaced.

There is a constant buzzing noise coming from the lower freezer ice maker. It is producing very few ice cubes. The control bar is down and in proper position to make ice.

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

No audio after reconnect after disconnect to move. All other functions of computer are normal. Need connection image? possible DIN plug misalignment or damage?

i will start with with your screen you will need a screen to fix the sound
make sure you have connected it properly and the socket is dust free

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

One problem could be that the drive is trying for a drive letter that is already taken by the system.

1.) Click Start->Setting's->Control Panel->Administrative tools.
2.) Computer Management
3.)In the management tool under Storage->Disk Management.
4.) Can you see your drive in the list?
5.) If already formatted and data present and you can see your drive right click on the drive and click on change drive letter and assign a new drive letter to it.
7.) If showing unused you will have to format it.
8.) Now after you change the drive letter it should appear in Explorer.

Hope this helped.

Ps3 says hard disk's file is corrupted and will be restored starts restoring then goes back to screen saying hard disk's file is corrupted.what can i do now?

Hello,

follow this procedures its a solution to corrupted hard disk.

Put your PS3 in Standby Mode. The first thing your going to want to know is your model number. It can be found on the back panel of the PS3 on the serial number label, and it will begin with CECH. Example - Serial: XXXXXXXXXXXX-CECHXXX -

For models: CECHA01, BO1, E01, E01MG, G01, H01, H01MG, K01, LO1, AND P01, it will have a power switch on the back. Flip it off then back on and you will have a solid red indicator light on the front.

For models: CECH-2001A and 2001B, press the power button on the front until the indicator light turns red. If all else fails unplug the power cord and plug it back

Time to enter Safe Mode. Press and hold your finger over the power button on the front until you hear three beeps and the indicator light goes back to red. Then release the button. (The second you touch it you will hear a beep, that's the first beep. Five seconds later a second beep, another five seconds the third and final beep will sound then the indicator light will return to red.)

Press and hold your finger over the power button again until you hear a quick double beep. The release the button. (The second you touch it you will hear a beep, that's the first beep. Five seconds later a second beep, another five seconds you will hear the double beep.)

You will then see this screen. "Connect the controller with the USB cable, then press the PS button".

Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the front of your PS3 and the top of your game controller, (between the left and right bumpers). Then Press the PS button in the center of the controller.

You will then see this screen. -REMINDER: -BY DOING THE FOLLOWING ALL OF YOUR DATA ON YOUR PS3 WILL BE LOST, YOUR ONLINE STATS ARE ON THE NETWORK SO YOU WILL GET THAT STUFF BACK, INCLUDING GAMES AND ADDONS YOU BOUGHT FROM THE PSN.-

Select option number 5. (Restore PS3 System). Then select yes to perform step. You will then see this screen. "The hard disk's file system is corrupt and will be restored.

The PS3 will then restart. You will see many different languages, all that is is saying is, "Connect the controller with the USB cable, then press the PS button". Press the PS button and set your settings when it finishes it will start up and its fixed!

Good luck.

ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, KEY STUCK, FUSES BUZZING

The fuses that are buzzing, are these the ones you replaced? Sounds like a bad connection to the fuse panel, but the ones you removed are they fuses or relays. Did you have to repair any wiring or plugs for the window? Check the connection at the main window panel, if it has a bad connection such as not plugged in completely.

Sounds like the drive has seized spindle... Not good news.
Is it buzzing similar to any of these noises: http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php ?
What you should do is remove the internal drive from the enclosure and connect it directly to the computer. If still buzzing then it's a real mechanical problem...
