Just use a external memory card put it into your computer and paste it on the card. Then put the card in your camera. Even though you have changed the way the picture looks. It will still go back onto the camera.

How to upload pictures to PC

  • Plug the camera into the USB cable and plug that cable into the computer.
  • Turn the camera on, and the computer should acknowledge that the device was found. If not, you may have to rotate to another setting before the drive, or SD card is seen by the computer.
  • Open the computer's Explore program, and locate the device, probably listed as the last device.
  • Open the folders looking for a DCIM folder. You should find the pics in there.
  • Press Ctrl/A to select all, right-click one, click Copy.
  • Go to the folder where you want to store them, right-click, click Paste.
  • Ctrl/C copies and Ctrl/V pastes. You can use those instead of the right-click menu.
  • If you do a Ctrl/X, you can cut the images, but if you mess up, you could lose all your pics.

When i remove the sd card to upload photos to my computer my new pictures are not there but are when the sd card is in the camera?

There are two possibilities that I can think of. 1) The SD card is full. You will need to copy the pictures off the SD card and onto your computer, then format the card. You can probably do this in the camera, but MAKE SURE you have copied the pictures you want to your computer because the format will erase everything. 2) The SD card is write protected. Look closely at the SD card there is a little slide switch that "locks" the SD card so that your camera cannot put any pictures on it. This slide switch must be in the unlocked position (or NOT locked).
Hope this helps.

Trying to upload pics with my card reader and it says the pictures aren't supported, so they won't upload...any ideas why? Just uploaded from another camera

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card. For that you should buy a micro SD adapter. After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera. Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.

When I upload pics they come out funny on the computer. It looks like the picture was cut in half and put back together or I should say put back like a puzzle and arm here and a head here it is like they...

As an experiment, take the card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk machine. Insert the card and print a couple of the pics. Are they ok? If so, the problem lies with your computer.

Not able to 'delete' a picture from my Lumix TZ3

Sounds like a MobileMate quirk Tanya. Use your USB cable connection to your PC/Camera interface and delete pics that way too see if this funny goes away.

If it does, and I believe it will, then it is a SanDisk issue not revising the File Allocation Table(FAT) after deleting the Pic File on the mem card.

You could also find out if this is just an SDHC SD card reader issue by using an older less dense standard 1 or 2Meg non-SDHC mem card in the reader and see if issue goes away.

The fallback of course to view and delete the pics on the camera before download, or download pics then note which pic file numbers you want deleted after viewing on PC, then put SD card back in camera and delete them there.

Another option for trial, is to cut and paste the whole DCIM folder, or sub pic folder to your PC from off the SD card using the card reader. The camera automatically generates subfolders under the DCIM folder if you completely remove(deleting by a cut or move), when you take your first picture on a camera with a DCIM but not sub pic folder. Try this first and I think you will find all pics will be deleted from camera that are in a subfolder under DCIM. If not, then cut or move the whole DCIM folder and create a new DCIM(empty) folder on the SD card using the PC and card reader. Of course using this method you cannot selective delete individual pics from the mem card. You would be deleting them all after the Folder cut or move from the SD card.

Photos will not upload from camera to computer

Go to Desktop/MyComputer/Pana(or it may say USB Drive, or DCIM, and click on this external drive Icon.
You are now looking at the camera contents as if it were just another file folder on your PC, and behaves the same way.

You will find your pics in a sub-folder under a master folder, common for all camera file structures, named DCIM. You can drag and drop individual pic (jpg) files or whole pic subfolders from the camera to a place on your PC, usuallly Documents/Pictures.

You can do all other folder/file operations on this Camera Folder/Pic files you can do with those that exist on the PC like;cut, past, delete, rename, etc etc.

When you take you next first pic from your camera, after moving or deleting a pic subfoler under the Camera's DCIM master folder, the camera automatically creates another subfolder. Each subfolder holds 999 pics. The camera will atuomatically create a second, third, etc subfolder for pics 1000 to 1999, 2000 to...etc.

Trying to upload pics on my camera

It has changed the format of the picture some how. When you open the pictures on your computer you had to have deleted the memory card. Before you put them back on the memory card pay attention to the name of the file.Copy the name your camera has called the file. The last three letters of the file is the key .
