Question about Computers & Internet
Toshiba units are usually very durable and more like the best unit one can get. WHn the unit gets a chechered screen it is usually as a result of one of two things.
The first being that the screen has been mishandled and has therefore been hit by something relatively hard.
The second is usually the chord which connects the main unit to the monitor. In the both cases the affected part has to be replaced. In replacing replace the chord first as it is more likely to be the cause and is considerably cheaper. If after this has been replaced the problem persists then you change the screen.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
