Call the support number for your system, i would not trust anyone else to mess about will a system that takes and handles credit card details.
There must be a 24hr support number for a commercial product that deals with sensitive information

How to keep restuarant pro express from needing to login after a sale


In the OPTIONS screen, click SETUP, then SETUP SCREEN and choose INVOICE SETTINGS. Uncheck the box for PROMPT CASHIER ID. Exit back to LOGIN screen. This should fix your problem.

On resturaunt pro express how do u do automatic sign off

By automatic sign off, I'll assume you mean logging off cashier after each transaction. Go to OPTIONS, SETUP, SETUP SCREEN. Click the INVOICE SETTINGS tab. Check the box for PROMPT CASHIER ID. Click UPDATE and your all set.

Program a cashier onto a Casio TK 7000


It should be the 05 file on that machine so you just add the cashier number in front of the file number (105 for cashier 1, 205 for cashier 2 etc). So go to program 2 then use the 05 code as I've said to edit the text. The text entry procedure is shown in the manual so just run through that to familiarise yourself.If you don't have the text entry information in your manual, then you have the wrong one. We are using PC Charge PRo for our cafe to accept customer credit purchases. when we first open the pc charge program, it prompts for User name and Password. (as it should) but we typed the password wrong...

I have a Samsung SER-6540 II register. An error occurred that locked it up. I am not sure what the clerk did. I unplugged and turned the key to "P" and held down "Cash" key to clear. Now the register reads...

Restaurant Pro Express - Will not let me do "End of Day". A Message pops up that says: "There is still 1 table currently open. Please close these tables before running End Of Day Function." I never set...


Just uncheck the option to have the End of Day check whether there are open tables.
Go to Manager/Options -> Setup -> Setup Screen -> System Access -> Time Clock -> and check "Ignore Time Clock"

That's a programming option -- whether you have to sign in for each sale, or can just keep going until you do a Cashier Z reading. But this on is not in your Owner Manual. Most Sharpregisters have a deeper level of programming, called SRV mode. It's not marked on your mode switch, but it's one click past PGM. You need a SRV key to access it and a Service Manual to know what's there. Sharp doesn't supply the SRV key or instructions, because it allows you to change Grand Totals and other things that would allow an employee to steal without detection.

Any servicing Sharp register dealer should have the SRV key, and this change is simple enough that they might do it for free if you bring the register to them along with these instructions and ask nicely.

Turn to SRV mode.

Turn to REG mode.

Sign in and try running consecutive sales or No Sales without signing in between them.

You can still change Cashier numbers between sales by signing in with a different number.
If you touch the CASH # button without putting a number in first, it will sing out you current cashier, and you'll need to sign someone in again.
If you are in X/Z mode, and you touch the CASH # button, it will print a Cashier Z reading and automatically sign out all cashiers. Sign in before your next sale.

Hi. You haven't given a model number, but it usually means you haven't logged on. press 1 then CLK#. If your machine has a row of buttons just under the keylock called clerk, then make sure one of them is pressed down.
