Model EH8804. Where can I get a replacement switch?

That is a specialised switch as it looks oval and is a three position switch on, off reverse. It _may_ be a standard switch underneath and the button is separate. A new grinder is only 40 bucks here

If you take it apart, you may be able to ID the switch on these images?

How do you remove the case of a Hamilton Beach Model No. 1 MPU meat grinder?

Would be great, if you used the manual. It is the only way to make no mistakes. You keep the meat grinder in one piece, make no accidents an have a clean and hygienic machine afterwards.
No use when I type what is in the manual, here, you have to read it anyway.

We have a "Back to Basics 4500" meat grinder that

The problem is due to the gears that have been damaged and if not then is the motor, many times the first problem leads to the second and the manufacture does not give any of the motor replacing parts only the extrenal parts which you find at the link Also here is the manual of your grinder at which you can remove all external parts and try to rotate the motor forward or reverse if not any reactions then we sugest for a replacement apliance.

The attachment for grinding meat on the front wont work ? mixing arm in bowl works fine ! why wont it engage?

Firstly I would check it is fully engaged. If it is, remove the food grinder and look into the hole. You should be able to see a square hole inside. Turn on the mixer, the square hole should spin, if it does not, one of the gears inside the head has most likely broken. To repair this you will need to take the head apart.

The other possibility is that I misread your problem and that the grinder is turning, but the meat wont go through the plates at the end. This is a common issue which happens if the blade is not put in the end of the grinder. The blade is shaped like a cross and cuts the meat when it reaches the end of the screw.

Oster regency kitchen center meat grinder attachment

What exactly are you having problems? Setting up the grinder? The hopper inserts into the back side of the mixer head locks in place with a set screw. Then insert the piece that looks like an auger push it all the way back. next, comes the four blade knife it looks like this " + " if look at the center of the blade you will notice a square hole on one side place that side towards the auger. Then there are your grinder attatchments I only have two,one coarse, one fine. place one of them against the blades placing the tabs in the cutouts on the discharge end. mext there is a large metal cap thread this on the discharge. Set the control to grind and the speed to 10. You are set to go. cut the meat into strips or chunks that will fit down the infeed and use the plastic plunger to push them into the auger.
