Hi,
Number 1 problem on these sets is the power supply board. You can look for caps that are swollen and rounded on top. If it is a samsung that will definitely be the problem.

Thanks Rusty, yes it is a Samsung. Is it an expensive fix?

I have a Samsung model HPR4252 and it is doing the exact same thing. I dont know how to look for the swollen caps that you wrote about. How do I check for that and what is the cost to fix the television?

Asus eee boxpc ar5b95 clicking sound will not power up why

At this point, you need to contact ASUS by going to their web site, or calling their toll-free number, if you have it. They are going to have to provide assistance on this. Hopefully, this laptop is still under warranty.

Otherwise, maybe someone else here can give you a better idea of how to solve this problem.

Why is my samsung clp making a clicking noise?

Is the printer making a clicking sound when it is printing? Or is it just making a clicking sound but there are no light and the printer appears to be dead except making a clicking sound?

I know of a cause for either case.

Case 1. It is clicking when printing. Sometimes the toner cartridges are not seated properly in the imaging unit, and causes the gear on the cartridge to slip making a clicking sound as the gear is being turned. Try pulling out the cartridges and try turning the gear. It should turn smoothly without binding. If it binds, there is not much you can do about it except replace it when it goes empty. Reinsert the cartridge and check that it inserted completely into the imaging unit.

Case 2. Printer is dead, not printing except making a clicking sound. This is due to the power supply board failure. Usually the failure is due to a blown filter capacitor on the power supply board. The power supply is located on the right side of the printer. Remove the right side panel to get access to the board. The board can be either repaired or replaced. Hope this helps you.

My tv doesnt turn on but it has a clicking sound

Hi, this clicking sound is coming from the power supply board. this Board accepts the power stream from the wall outlet and regulates it with capacitors and resistors and transformers etc.. when these components are malfunctioning or damaged, your unit will make these clicking noises.

Simply replacing the power supply board and fly back, if installed, will fix this issue.

Please rate and have a great day:)

No picture and clicking sound only

This may be a power supply problem or a shorted horizontal output transistor shorted. The clicking sound is the power supply trying to start but can't because of the overload. Stargazer
