Question about Sanyo Televison & Video
This is a common problem on Sanyo models.White screen is actually a good sign that indicates that the high voltage and other main power supply is working fine. This intermittent problem is due to either the video processing circuits or tuner section is bad.I would have predicted a faulty tuner, however as you said, you got a white screen with a video signal through the video input also - that rules out the tuner as the problem area.)
So, it looks like the video processing area is where the failure it. That will require a tech to troubleshoot it in search of the exact component failure (there are many, maybe over 100 components in that area). Once found it is probably a small, inexpensive part). However, this is a hardware failure and needs to be corrected.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.

I doubt it is the problem of the picture tube. A replacement may make it work fine.
