This is a very common complaint and usually not a cheap fix.
The problem is the analog water level switch is clogged or failing. You will need to remove the top cover. The switch is a small rectangular box with a group of wires going to it and also a hose. First check that the hose is clear and free of obstructions do this by blowing thru it. If all is clear and f35 or suds pops back up you will need to replace the switch. I have a gwl15 Fisher Paykel Smart Drive and it will not get past the rinse cycle, water will not drain out! I found the diagnostic mode sheet and the number I come up with is none of the fault...

Hi - it would seem the washer pump may actually be blocked for some reason... If you had followed the method as per the diagnostics then if you reckon you got 35 then its a communications error beween the console & display. Furthermore you would be able to mannually start the pump in diagnostic mode to see if its working fine.. But under normal cond..... the machine would come up with a pump error & code 37 - so perhaps it is ok.

Remedy - check the harness wire connections between the display & the controller unit is good - clean - otherwise replace the display unit to correct.

On the error codes - there is a Code 35 - just that its not available to the public - it was only ever issued on a DVD sent to the service agents - have never actually seen it on the secure service site.

See how you go....

F35 pressure switch error. Can I temporarily jump out or bypass this switch so I can do laundry today(Sunday) before I buy the part on Monday?

The f35 error code is a pressure sensor failure. Make use you are only using he detergent. Check the drum the water should be drained out. Usually the complaint is when the washer is started it will lock the door and the drain pump will run. The display will display sud when it is running. Eventually it will display f 35 error code. To check the pressure sensor you will have to remove the top. The top is secured by three screws long the top of the back. With the screws removed slide the top back and lift it off. The pressure sensor is located on the top right side towards the back of the unit with a black hose attached. Remove the hose and blow into it to make sure it is clear. Check to make sure the electrical connections are fully seated. Now with the pressure hose disconnected start a cycle. If the washer works cancel the cycle. Reinstall the pressure hose and the top should work fine. If you still get the f 35 error code you will need to replace the pressure sensor. The part number for the pressure sensor is W10156252

Error code F-35 display on whirlpool washer. What is the problem

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE- If this failure is displayed then there is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check if the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check if the hose is not blocked

If it still not works then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Kenmore HE3 washer displays "Sud" shortly after cycle starts, then displays code F-35 shortly afterward -- and cycle stops running at that point.

Whirlpool Duet washer Displays F 35 code and stops

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.
