Question about Tools & Hardware - Others

1 Answer

Hi, I borrowed a friend?s T36001A Bostich stapler, and dropped it. I am looking for the nose piece actuator which is the part you press in against the wood to release the lock on the trigger, I broke off the tip, do you have the part? And if so, how much is it? Or if not, do you know where I can find it? Thanks jack 407.353.1369

They don't have the parts that I could find. I just fix my gun with the same problem... I just Tig welded the piece back on. If you don't have the piece just add a small piece of stock when you finish the tip of the safety should be flush when it is all the way down with the noise piece.

How do I load the stapler?

No you don't. We answer most things here.

If the stapler is like any of these

You push the back in slightly to unlatch it and then drop it down a bit and the staple pusher comes out completely.

How do I reload staples into a Bostich Electric Stapler E66760? I tried standard staples and they won't seem to fit

RTM. Read the manual. If you didn't keep it, you can Google for one with your make, model and manual in the search box and you should be able to get a .pdf file of the manual which you can save to your computer. You're probably using the wrong size staples.

What part do I need to remove to make a bostich MIIIFS floor stapler to shoot 2 inch staples

You shouldn't have to do anything to the MIIIFS flooring stapler to shoot 2" staples. It is designed to shoot 1 1/2" to 2" staples right out of the box. If your stapler won't feed 2" staples, check the magazine all the way up to the power head for any foreign material that may hold up your staples.

Do you need to add oil into the air line of Bostitch stapler Model #650S4

Hi, W/D here.
Bostich recommends adding a few drops daily. Avoid over oiling, as this may cause oil pooling in ports, and cause feeding problems. This will be more pronounced in cold weather.
Best regards, --W/D--

I have a very old Bostitch staple gun Model T5. It has run out of staples, but I cannot figure out how to put new staples in it.

You should not need any tools to lift the guard/nose piece. The T5 nose piece cleary has engraved on it "Pull Up To Insert Staples". To remove old staples, use a pencil or similar rod to depress the hammer/striker above the staples while the nose is open.

My friend let me borrow an Arrow HT50P Stapler and I would like to know how to open the stapler so I can load it

Most arrow staplers have slide levers along the sides toward the front. Pull back on these and it should pop open. Some however load from the rear of the stapler. You push in and down on a square metal piece and it will unlock and than you pull it out toward you. slide in a rack of staples, put it in, relock and ready to go. If you put in too many staples it wont go all the way in to re lock.
