Remove battery and clean the battery terminals and contacts. Now insert the batttery and charge fully.
Once it is charged make a call to check. If the battery level is dropping the batttery can be faulty.
If not clean the set and test once again. If fault is present a harware issue can be a suspect.

There are many reasons why the call will be dropped. The call will be dropped when you aggregate link between the nodes fails, if this is not the case monitor the connections on the node and see if the connections stays up. If I would guess it could be the PABX that is dropping the calls and not the nodes.

When i make a call my strength bar decreases an drops the call


You might be on the border of two coverage areas, like the overlap between two towers.

First try powering your phone off then back on. Watch the strength meter for a minute or two then try your call.

It also might be dropping as you move it, or block the internal antenna with your hand. If you have speaker mode, hit that as soon as the call connects and watch the bars. They're not realtime, so you only see changes after several seconds or longer.

Try other sections of your house or car, wherever you're trying to use the phone when this happens.

Also, check your battery strength. If it's down to one or two bars, you should charge it up and see if that solves your problem.

Intermittent connection issues are very difficult for internet service providers to trouble shoot. The first step in trouble shooing any Intermittent connection problem is to look at the chain of equipment involved in flow of data from the internet service provider to the end user. In most homes the packets enter from the main line to the modem, than from the modem to the router, and finally from the router to you computer. So that means that the issue can be caused from the following equipment: main cable line, splitter, modem, router, or the Ethernet / wireless card of the PC. The first step in trouble shooting this problem is to wait for the internet to drop off. As soon at this happens go to your modem. If the top 4 lights are not solid green then the the modem is losing it's connection to the internet. This can be cause by some thing as simple as a bad splitter in the home or some thing as complicated at an issue at the pole. If the modem drops the connection I would recommend contacting the internet service provider and demand a service call to swap the modem and check the pole. Now if when the connection drops the modem still has access than the issue is most likely with the router or PC. If more than one computer loses it's internet access than you can rule out the computer as the issue. At this point I would have to recommend bypassing your router for about 48 hours. If the issue does not return than you know the router was the source of the problem.

Usually, a device will renegotiate a slower speed to compensate for interference. slower speeds are sometimes the most reliable. Its possible to change your wifi channels and try to get one that has less interference, and maintain a stronger signal. You might also want to ensure that any cordless phones in your area are NOT on the same frequency range as your router, because as soon as "Old Great Aunt Mildred" calls you or your neighbor, your wifi goes bye bye.

Paired Blackberry Curve 8310 w/Range Rover 2005 drops calls


Ok, this isn't so much a solution as a work around.

As long as your phone is still holding the call (showing connected), once the Range Rover drops the call, hit the soft button that shows a picture of a green phone receiver....as if you were making a call. This will cause the Range Rover to reconnect the speakrs/mike to the phone, and you can continue your call in relative harmony.

I still haven't figured out how to get out of the jam when a second call comes in while you are still on the first....

Modem blocking VoIP outgoing calls


I had a similar problem. Turns out my ISP was blocking IP phone calls. I bought a vpn appliance and solved the problem. If you use a soft phone you could try a personal vpn for 5 bucks to see if it works for you before shelling out for a hardware fix. That's what I did.
