Hi,

The drain line of the dishwasher is connected to the drain of the sink. The drain of the sink is clogged that is why the water from the dishwasher is backing up the sink as it drains.

You need a plumber to clean the drain of the sink in order for the water to drain faster and not back up the sink as the dishwasher is draining.

The problem could be in the water inlet solenoid. Somehow the water in the dishwasher is coing in the hot water line. The hot water line went into the dishwasher through the inlet solenoid.

Either the solenoid springs are already loose and water pressure from the dishwasher could go back the inlet solenoid.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

My soap dipenser is always FULL of water ater every use. What could be wrong

Is anything else in the dishwasher wet or has it all dried properly? Is all the soap gone when you check? If both of these are true, then it may not be an issue -- your soap dispenser gets rinsed to get the soap out and onto your dishes.

How do I get rid of the soap suds coming out of my new bathroom sink overflow (the hole at the front of the sink)?

Your sink drain is partially clogged below the overflow drain so suds laden water is backing part way up that tube discharging suds out the overflow opening. If you have a push-pull built in stopper that's probably holding up a clog just below. Clear the clog, soap suds act like they should.

Kohler soap dispenser leaks onto counter

Your dispenser nut is either not tightened down underneath or your plastic base/o-ring needs to be replaced. Turn off water at value. Using sink nut removal & installation tool that is available at any Lowe's or Home Depot. Remove it and look at what is wrong. Conntact Kohler for free parts to repair it. Reinstall dispenser .

Bathroom sink smells strongly like sewer when water runs fast.

Suppose you plugged the drain of the sink and filled the basin with water, then removed the plug. I must think that only after the basin empties you would get the sewer smell, and the smell would persist until you slowly ran some more water. If you try this, and this is the result, then the problem is that the sewer vent (that is supposed to prevent the water in the trap under the sink from being sucked down the drain) is not working right. If this is a new problem then you may be able to clear what is probably a blocked vent pipe. If this bathroom has always had this problem, then you have a poorly designed or executed vent pipe setup that you can only fix it with some surgery to your plumbing. However, to clean the vent you can try pouring a good bit of drain cleaner down the vent pipe on the roof, followed by water. But because there may be several vent pipes sharing the same vent stack out the roof, the drain cleaner may not get to your blockage and may simply go down a different path. Good luck.

When do you need to vent a bathroom sink?

You always need to vent a sink. If you do not vent the sink it will create a vacume and **** water, or air from the nearest fixture.. example, if you connect to the sewer line near a bath tub, when you run the sink water it will **** air from the bath tub drain. If it sucks a lot of air, you will smell the sewer odor since the water is no longer blocking it.
If you cannot run the vent to the roof, there is an in wall vent valve called a studor vent that may work. Get with someone at Lowes or Home depot to show you one.

My new LG washer always has water in the soap dispenser, bleach dispenser, and fabric softener dispenser after the cycle has finished. Is this normal?

Mine too!! Very annoying, especially since the water then drains down onto to floor and has actually made the door hinges stiff! I just use powdered bleach now.

How do i clean a peg-wc10

To clean granite sinks, use a non-abrasive cleaner (such as Softscrub, Bar Keepers Friend or even just plain baking soda!) and a soft cloth. For tough stains, a solution of 50/50 water and bleach solution left to sit for one hour should do the trick, just scrub and rinse well.

Always rinsing well and drying your granite sink with a soft cloth after each use will help you avoid ugly water spots and soap build up.

At some point the dishwasher leaks onto the floor. what could be the possible problem?

this are the possibilities for the leak :-----
Door gasket loose/torn
Corner gaskets or door baffle/vent gasket
Door lock/latch loose/broken
Split spray arm
Over filling with water...usually the level is just under the heating element is normal
Something leaking through the door...like the soap or rinse agent dispenser gasket, silverware basket button.
Door hinge(s) bent
Wrong soap was used...dish sink soap instead of dishwasher soap
Rinse aid being used with mechanically softened water ( makes foam or suds inside the dishwasher )

Leaks from under the unit:
Look for whiting or calcium stain on the motor and pump assembly = motor and pump assembly seal leak...access panel removal help
Hose for upper spray arm split
Fill hose split or fill hose spout air inlet is calcium covered
Drain hose is split
Rusted liner...metal liners only
Fill valve leaking or allowing water to fill all the time
Heating element ends....where they come out through the dishwasher liner
Float or float gasket.
