Brother pe 150 needle wont pick up thread from bobbin changed needle

Check that the needle is in the right way, flat shank to the back. If it is around backwards, the shuttle hook won't be catching the thread at the back of the needle to form the stitch.

It can't pick up the thread out to sew

Make sure that you have a tail on the bobin thread when in place and a tail on the needle thread, hold the needle thread and turn the wheel to bring up the bobin thread before trying to sew

Needle not picking up bobbin thread. Seems threaded properly. lsd-1 (classic) Problem occurred after needle hit something perhaps the the cap spring which had some marks on it but no real damage. ...

change the needle, if bent it may skip, use top thread while holding to pull thru, turn bobin around to turn in oposite dirrection, bobins usually turn in 1 correct dirrection

Trouble with sensor

The upper thread sensor on most Brother's is activated by the check spring. Either your check spring has broken or is stuck. You may be able to fix this if you can get to it. A drop of oil may be all you need. I may be able to give more specific advise if you tell me what model it is.

Good luck!

I have model 8280 and the bobbin thread keeps bunching up on the bottom. I have tried to rethread it but it keeps happening.

i think your putting in your bobin backwards,
to check put your bobin in and hold bobin , and bobin case by thread if it unrolls its backwards,
hope this helps!!
