The PC powers up, then starts beeping, one long beep and one short beep. The monitor tries to come on but shows the DVI with no signal; and the HDMI with no signal and the VGA with no signal and then the...

the beeps codes means there is a problem with a piece of hardware (RAM, or graphics card ,etc)
I need to know the BIOS manufacturer to interpret the code (phoenix or award or AMI)
for COMPAQ it means BIOS error --and will have to reload it from a recovery cd.
for IBM it means system board failure-- need new mobo--for a beep code of 1 long and 2 short most all mean graphics card problem.

Dell Demension 9150. I push the button to turn it on and it just beeps. I tried it several time and had the same result. Any ideas on how to fix it? I do not have hardware experience. Thanks

if you the beeps are long, means that you need to replace the memory module. if it is a short beep, and your monitor is black:
  1. remove the video cable if your monitor display 'No signal' so the problem is in the central unit.
  2. if the monitor does not display 'No signal' so the problem is in the monitor you have to replace it.

My Dell Inspiron 530S beeps three times when powered up, the USB ports have no power and the monitor isn't getting a signal. Any suggestions?

Beeps during startup/POST means you have a hardware failure that is stoping the computer from starting up normal. 3 beeps means you have faulty RAM. You could trying removing a stick if u have more then 1 installed, however replacement is ideal. RAM is highly inexpensive and is a DIY project that would take less than 10 minutes to complete. However if your computer is under warranty I suggest calling dell and letting them deal with it.
Here is link to beep codes for future reference
Let me know if you need instructions on to swap out RAM, I would gladly assist, please rate

No input signal

that is the problem of cpu not a monitor to confirm disconnect signal cable and power on. monitor will show "no signal check signal cable" it means that monitor is ok and fault lies in cpu .then open the cpu and disconnect ram and listen the beep. contineus beep should be heard then ram is faulty replace it. if no beep heard then motherboard is faulty .

No signal to monitor / Beeping

Listen to the pattern of beeps, or look at the back of the computer to see the pattern of the diagnostic lights ( 4 lights just under the keyboard/mouse connectors) and check out this site to see what they mean:
