Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to upgrade Hitachi 51F59 51 in. HDTV Television

To my knowledge there are no upgrades even POSSIBLE for this model--it should have only one HD input and needs a set top box for HD reception--hence it is HD ready.

What is the issue?

Bought H1080/XEU dvd player - have Sony 1080 TV - are they compatible? Picture keeps stopping for few seconds and then resuming.

Looks like it is the problem with the DVD disc / media source. Replace the disc with another disc. Last but not least.. why dont you try connecting the DVD player and TV via HDMI cable? Sometimes older cables may cause video drops .. just guessing anyway!.

SO FAR FIXYA IS BS

Really? Try reading the messages you've been sent.

I've pasted this from your premium support request:

Your TV will not accept an HDMI signal from the Roku box. In the TV specifications on page 104 of your user manual you will note this:

HDMI jack x 2
Note: The Digital-In terminal is not compatible with picture signals of a personal computer.

The Roku box is effectively a PC. It is receiving digital media via the internet and streaming it to your TV in the same way as a standard PC would.

The only way you will get this to work, is with a different type of cable. I would suggest component AV.

Hope this helps. Unfortunately, your purchase of incompatible equipment is beyond our control.

Problem hooking dvd-1080p8 to 22inch 720p RCA TV LCD HD .

I changed the output on the Dvd player to720p and that seemed to cure the signal problem, that is what the TV is,so that makes sense,I had already assumed that would do the trick. However,as I said yesterday, the manual states it only upgrades the signal in 1080p,I went by the deacription on the box which said it was compatible with all 3 signals. So after all of that I am not sure if it is going to upgrade the signal to 720p,if you have the answer I would appreciate knowing,I can certainly live with this .but it would be nice to know.

Will sony KV35s66 accept a digital tuner?

The Sony "S" series is not HD compatible in any way. To see an HD program you would require an HD down-conversion box. This would make the pictures look like regular TV, but may have some distortions because of the 16:9 scan ratio from the HD programs, unless you model series is 16:9 compatible.
