Download the driver from the website
http://www.emachines.com/support/drivers.html
for your model and execute the audio file after completion, restart the system. If still it is not detecting then in device manager if any sound drivers are detected with exclamation marks, remove it and then restart.

Cant get speaker to work hear only static

First try to attach the speaker to another device, DV Player, Amp, Audio Receiver, etc. See if the set works on any other device and if they do; the problem is with the computer sound in or software that allows the speakers to generate sound-out. Check also that you have the computer set to play sound! Look at the speaker symbol at the lower right of the screen and it should indicate it is active. Right click and it should tell you if it 100%. Open the Volume Mixer and see if your speakers are recognized and set the Volume. Always make certain the speakers are attached to the proper GREEN in port on the sound section on the back-side of the computer. If you have more than one colored plugs, be certain to insert according to the color.

No sound on speakers

no sound? i see... well on the right lower side of your screen do yu see a speaker with 3 little green lines coming out of it? this indicates that your sound card was detected by your computer. now in the back of your tower, are your speakers plugged in the right holes? if they are plugged in the pink holes (microphone) you will not hear anything. try plugging in green or black. if this dosent work go to control panel on your start key. lower left side. and click on sound options. you will see on the top tabs sound device. if your computer does not detect any sound related thing it will tell you that the device is not workign properly. this has to do with yur sound card not being installed correctly

It can"t detect audio driver

if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

Why isn't my computer detecting my speakers

Computers do NOT detect speakers. Computers detect sound cards, which is the device that speakers plug in to but they are not aware of whether you are plugging in headphones, an amplifier or speakers.
The most common problems here are:
A: Your speakers are not plugged into the proper hole on the sound card. (most are color coded, make sure your cables jack color matches the color of the hole you are inserting it in.)
B: Your sound card is not installed properly. (This requires more info to resolve)
C: You volume is muted. (Instructions below)
D: Your speakers require power and are not plugged in or turned on. (Have you used these speakers before? Do they require power, is the power on?)
Go to your Control Panel under Sound and check your settings, make sure that your volume is NOT muted and that you have some sort of sound card showing.
If that does not help then please send me that Make/Model of the Computer you are using and Operating System (XP, Vista, etc) so that I may give you a specific answer with simpler instructions.

Hello i like to install speaker sound drivers ...

Speakers do not need any drivers!! Your sound card need drivers.

If your sound card is PCI, remove it and reinsert it to the PCI slot again and see whether your system detect the device and use the sound CD to install the drivers. (Change PCI slots if necessary and turn off the PC before changes the PCI sound card).

If your audio device is intergrated device, check the Bios to make sure the sound/audio is enable.

Note: Check the device manager first to see any audio device had been install properly.

Speakers connected properly but still no sound it says there was no sound device detected

HI,
1. First check your speakers with CD/DVD player, either sound is working or not.
2. Check your system whether the driver is installed or not.
3. Goto Mycomputer rightclick, then properties, then hardware, then device manager
4. then sound video game controller, check here your sound card is installed or not
5. if you find any yellow mark on the sound card, right click on that diable it,
6. select Action from the menu bat at the top and scan for new hardware changes.
7. Select system devices below the sound video game controller, double click on that and find is
there any yellow mark symbol display on any controller, if not, then everything is installed properly
8. And now you can restart your computer.
